Big news for Houston County! Advanced Product Solutions in Columbia is bringing new jobs and new opportunities to the area.

What to know

According to recent reports, Advanced Product Solutions in Columbia plans on creating 30 new jobs in the city.

They will be moving into the former Russell Corporation building located at 101 Industrial Blvd. in Columbia. The 40,750-square-foot facility will then become a new kind of manufacturing hub.

In this case, operating room procedure kits for both humans and animals will be produced at the facility. This new project comes after another company expansion in the fall of 2022, which added about 100 new jobs to the area.

A timeline

Are you wondering when the jobs will be available? Advanced Product Solutions in Columbia will start hiring during the fourth quarter of 2023.

For now, they are planning to launch operations during the first quarter of 2024.
