Have you had a chance to welcome the new Dickey’s Barbecue Pit in Dothan off of West Main Street to the neighborhood? Don’t worry! You can make plans to do it today.

You’ll find slow-smoked meats like “fall-off-the-bone ribs,” jalapeno cheddar kielbasa sausage and competition-style brisket, for instance. Then throw in your choice of Southern side dishes such as potato casserole, barbecue beans and fried okra.

Of course, you may be familiar with Dickey’s delicious signature barbecue and other tasty menu items. Technically this is the second location in the Circle City.

The restaurant was established in Dallas, Texas, in 1941 by WWII veteran Travis Dickey. According to their story, it’s always been a family affair. Dickey’s Barbecue serves slow-smoked meats including pulled pork, smoked turkey and marinated chicken, for starters.

Pair it with other family recipes plus complimentary fresh baked rolls and ice cream for the ultimate barbecue treat. Did we mention kids eat free on Sundays?

Find the new location for Dickey’s Barbecue Pit in Dothan at 3835 West Main St. The restaurant is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.

Don’t forget the original Dickey’s Barbecue location in Dothan is still open too! They are happily serving the other side of town at 2115 East Main St.
